Franklinton defeats Pearl River
Franklinton defeated Pearl River, 72-34, in a District 8-4A road game held Wednesday.
Danaria Magee posted 18 points to lead the Lady Demons. Addison Carter tallied 11 points. Kaniya Dillon recorded 10 points.
Jalyn Bickham had nine points while India Dickerson put up eight, Miriam Tate posted six points, Shamya Hart and Cyna Hart had three each and Bailey Brooks added two . The Lady Demons were solid at the free-throw line, hitting 10-of-14 (71.4 percent).

Varnado’s Foster has a big night in victory over Covenant Christian
Varnado’s Jaden Foster had a big game in the Lady Kittens’ 45-35 victory over Covenant Christian Academy in a District 8-1A contest Tuesday on the road. Foster scored a game-high 33 points, which included a 3-pointer, in the win for the Lady Kittens. Destiny Keys posted five points while Tanisha Brister had three and Jamonica Dillon and Quierra Bickham added two each for Varnado.
