Lady Kittens split last 2 games

Varnado’s Lady Kittens went 1-1 in a pair of District 8-1A games that were held Friday and Monday.
On Friday, Varnado suffered a 79-19 loss to Houma Christian School in a District 8-1A game held at home.
Quierra Bickham led the Lady Kittens with six points on a pair of 3-pointers.
Jamonica Dillon and Tanisha Brister posted three each while Jalisha Jackson and Asia Magee added two each for Varnado. Brister hit a 3-pointer in the game.
The Lady Kittens rebounded from the loss with a 34-6 victory over J.S. Clark on the road Monday.
Dillon led the way for Varnado with seven points.
Jaden Foster and Destiny Key recorded six each while Bickham posted five, Brittany Smith tallied four and Arian Foster and Tamyra Bell added two each.
Bickham hit a 3-pointer for Varnado.
