Lady Demons win games on Friday, Monday

Franklinton’s Lady Demons tallied a 2-0 record with victories over Pearl River and George Washington Carver on Friday and Monday, respectively.
On Friday, Franklinton defeated Pearl River, 51-16, in Friday’s District 8-4A game that was held on the road.
Kaniya Dillon led Franklinton with 16 points. Danaria Magee posted 13 points.
Addison Carter tallied nine points while Miriam Tate had eight, Jalyn Bickham posted four and Shamya Hart added one.
In non-district action Monday, the Lady Demons defeated George Washington Carver at home on Senior Night.
Dillon and Magee led the way with solid nights for the Lady Demons, as both scored 21 points.
Bickham tallied nine points while Tate posted six, Carter had three and Shamya Hart and Cyna Hart added two each in the victory.
