FHS’s Jordan takes 4th in weight class

Franklinton’s Camryn Jordan was fourth in the 165-pound weight class at the Randy Johnson Invitational Powerlifting Meet that took place Saturday at St. Thomas Aquinas.
Jordan was fourth out of nine lifters in the 165s after totaling 495 combined pounds lifted among squat, bench press and deadlift. Jordan had a 155 in squat, a 115 bench and a 225 deadlift.
Woodlawn’s Taylor Kinchen won the weight class with a 560.
Franklinton was the only local girls’ team in the meet.
Anna Papiska was sixth in the 132s with a 335. She squatted 120, benched 65 and deadlifted 150. Lakeshore’s Caelan Hayes won with a 680.
Brianna Nesbitt and Jewel Vincent were fourth-and-fifth in the 148s.
Nesbitt tallied a 355. She recorded a 130 in squat, 70 bench and 155 deadlift. Vincent was at 90 squat, 50 bench and 130 deadlift. Denham Springs’ Cailey Aucoin victorious with a 485 total.
Deborah Brewster and Erin Mitchell were third-and-fourth in the super heavy weight division. Brewster recorded a 475 with a 145 squat, 95 bench and 235 deadlift. Mitchell tallied a 145 squat, 80 bench and 205 deadlift. Archbishop Hannan’s Sydney Allain was the winner at 635.
