Mt. Hermon defeats Holden
Mt. Hermon’s Yellow Jackets were victorious over Holden in a District 7-B contest that took place at home Tuesday.
Ike Tate led Mt. Hermon with 14 points.
Za’byeaus Holmes was just a point behind at 13.
Jordan Smith and Device Taylor posted nine each while George Williams had eight and Tevin Williams recorded six. The Yellow Jackets were 16-4 going into Friday’s game and are 14th in the unofficial LHSAA Class B power rankings. Holden is 13-14 and is 21st.

Mt. Hermon falls to Holden
Mt. Hermon’s Lady Jackets suffered a 47-17 loss to Holden in District 7-B competition that took place at home Tuesday.
Destiny Lewis scored seven points to lead Mt. Hermon.
Patera Williams posted four points while Adriana Tate and Macey Applegate posted two each and Sikoya Jackson and Kalei Hughes added one each.
Mt. Hermon entered Friday’s play with a 4-11 record and is 29th in the unofficial LHSAA Class B power rankings. Holden is 25-1 and is No. 1 in Class B.
