Lady Eagles tally 2-1 record in last 3 games

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Lady Eagles are 2-1 in their last three games.
Ben’s Ford captured a 57-9 victory over Laurel Christian School on the road in a record-setting night for Kayleigh Wheat.
Wheat hit a school-record nine 3-pointers and put up 32 points in the victory for the Lady Eagles.
“I think it’s a huge accomplishment on her part and it propelled the team to a victory,” Ben’s Ford coach Mark McGehee said. “I’ve got confidence in her as a shooter and she propelled us to victory with her shooting. It was a great accomplishment for her. I’m very proud of her for her accomplishment.”
In addition to her strong shooting night, Wheat also grabbed a rebound and made two steals.
Kelci Freeman posted eight points, two boards and four steals.
Celeste Crowe had four points, six rebounds, an assist and three steals.
Allison Forbes recorded three points, two rebounds and a steal.
Bailey Stewart tallied two points, a rebound, three assists and she made six steals.
AnnaBella Seal had a point, three rebounds and two steals.
Alaina McClelland pulled down two rebounds, dished out three assists and made three steals while Valerie Paige had four boards and a steal and Dani Descant added an assist in the win.
Ben’s Ford was victorious again on Monday with a 62-30 victory over Christian Collegiate Academy on the road, as the Lady Eagles had a balanced scoring attack.
Wheat posted 12 points to go with four rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Stewart put up 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and five steals.
Freeman recorded 10 points, three boards and three steals.
Paige totaled nine points, nine boards and five steals.
Crowe had seven points, seven rebounds, an assist and she made seven steals.
McClelland had five points, three boards, three assists and three steals.
Forbes scored four points, grabbed 11 rebounds, dished out an assist and made a steal.
Abby Smith had three points, three boards and an assist.
Lindsey McGehee added two points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Tuesday’s home game was a 57-19 loss to Lamar Christian School.
Wheat recorded six points and a rebound.
McClelland had five points, nine boards, two assists and she blocked a shot.
Feeman posted three points, four boards and a steal.
Crowe tallied two points, five boards and a steal.
Smith had two points, three rebounds and an assist.
Stewart posted a point, five rebounds and a pair of steals.
Paige grabbed a rebound and a steal and Forbes and Seal added a rebound each for Ben’s Ford.
