Varnado defeats Mt. Hermon

Varnado’s Jaden Foster scored 22 points, helping the Lady Kittens defeat Mt. Hermon, 43-40, in a game held Friday, Jan. 12, at Mt. Hermon.
Foster hit a 3-pointer in the victory.
Quierra Bickham posted 16 points and she hit three 3-pointers for the Lady Kittens.
Tanisha Brister had five.
Patera Williams and Kalei Hughes tied for the team lead in points with 12 each. Williams recorded a pair of 3-pointers while Hughes had one.
Sikoya Jackson recorded nine points while Keashea Banks tallied five, Destiny Lewis had four and Macey Applegate added two for the Lady Jackets. Jackson and Banks hit a 3-pointer each.
Vanado’s next game takes place Tuesday, Jan. 23, at home against St. Martin’s Episcopal. Mt. Hermon returns to action on Tuesday, Jan. 23, with a home contest against Holden.
