Three Bogalusa players have one more high school football game left in their careers.
Dianté Lenoir, Cody Sumrall and Joemon Roberts have been selected to play in the NAACP Louisiana Senior Bowl Football Game.
The competition takes place at A.W. Mumford Stadium, which is located on the campus of Southern University of Baton Rouge, on Saturday, Jan. 13, with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
The game gives the players a chance to be seen by college coaches.
This season, Sumrall was the District 7-3A Defensive Most Valuable Player, along with a first-team defensive lineman, a second-team offensive lineman and second-team punter.
Sumrall made 77 tackles and 47 of them were solo stops. Sumrall tallied eight tackles behind the line along with five sacks, a pass defensed and seven hurries.
Lenoir was a first-team all-district running back and second-team linebacker.
This season, Lenoir broke the 1,000-yard plateau for rushing yards, going for 1,051 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Roberts was a second-team all-district defensive lineman for the Lumberjacks this season.
Bogalusa tallied a 4-6 record this season and reached the playoffs as the 23rd-seeded team, but lost to eventual state semifinalist and 10th-seeded Jennings, 33-12, in the opening round.
