Varando loses to Pearl River
Varnado’s Lady Kittens were defeated by Pearl River, 42-23, in Thursday’s game that was a home.
Jaden Foster led Varnado with 15 points.
Tanisha Brister posted six points and Destiny Keys added two pints in the contest for the Lady Kittens.

Bowling Green School tops Silliman Institute
Bowling Green School’s Lady Buccaneers defeated Silliman Institute, 39-34, in a road game that took place Tuesday.
Callie Seal recorded 13 points, a rebound, two assists and three steals.
Cailee Fruge posted 12 points, five boards, three assists and she made seven steals for Bowling Green.
Hallie Robertson recorded seven points, three boards, an assist and a steal.
Allie McCain tallied four points, three rebounds and two steals.
Kyley Seals had three points, three rebounds, three assists and a trio of steals.
Anna Claire made a steal while Bridget Devall dished out an assist in the Lady Buccaneers’ victory.

Pine wins against Varnado
Pine had a balanced scoring attack against Varnado in a 43-25 win on the road Tuesday.
Nine players tallied between two and nine points for the Lady Raiders.
Raina Crosby and Savannah Kennedy led the way, tallying nine points each for Pine.
McKayla Jordan posted six points while Kaylyn Ginn recorded five, Kalli Tullier had four and Elizabeth Barber, Alyssa Phelps, Kelsey Jenkins and Kiyasha Clark all had two for the Lady Raiders. Ginn hit a 3-pointer for Pine.

Franklinton falls in district opener
Franklinton’s Lady Demons suffered a 70-48 loss to Salmen on the road in the District 8-4A opener for both teams after a tough second half.
Franklinton led 29-26 at halftime, but were outscored 44-19 in the second half.
Danaria Magee posted 17 points for the Lady Demons.
Addison Carter had 11.
Kaniya Dillon tallied eight while India Dickerson and Jalyn Bickham posted six points each.

Varnado defeated by Pearl River
Varnado’s Lady Kittens suffered a 43-29 loss to Pearl River in a home game that took place Monday.
Quierra Bickham led Varnado with 14 points. Bickham hit a 3-pointer.
Tanisha Brister and Jaden Foster posted six points each while Jamonica Dillon added three points for Varnado.

Ben’s Ford Christian School loses to Lamar Christian School
Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Lady Eagles suffered a 67-18 loss to Lamar Christian School last Friday on the road.
Alaina McClelland led Ben’s Ford in points and rebounds with nine points and six boards along with a blocked shot.
Kelci Freeman posted four points, two rebounds and two steals.
Valerie Paige had two points, two boards and a blocked shot.
Bailey Stewart put up two points and two rebounds.
Celeste Crowe had a point, a rebound and a steal.
Kaleigh Wheat tallied two rebounds and a steal while Abby Smith grabbed two boards and dished out an assist, and Allison Forbes and AnnaBella Seal added a rebound each for the Lady Eagles.

Pine defeats Christ Episcopal
Pine’s Jordan Anderson scored 24 points and hit a pair of 3-pointers in the Raiders’ 73-36 victory over Christ Episcopal in Thursday’s game that took place on the road.
Anderson was one of 10 Raiders to tally points in the victory.
Xavier Elzie posted 12 points and he was successful on two threes.
Kaz Warren recorded nine points while Tanner McKenzie had seven, Eric Crosby tallied six, Markell Cotton had four, Tristan Jones, Carson Gerald and Karson Voth all put up three and Chance Woodward added two in the win for Pine. Crosby made two 3-pointers while Warren, Jones and Gerald all hit one for the Raiders.

Varnado falls to Pearl River
Varnado’s Wildcats suffered a 79-60 loss to Pearl River in a game that took place Thursday on the road.
Armontee Kemp continued his solid week for the Wildcats. Just two nights after posting 34 points, he scored 32 points in Thursday’s contest. Kemp hit a pair of 3-pointers.
Gary Crumedy and James Williams posted nine points each while Jadarryl Magee had seven points and Ardarryl McGowan, Adrian Bickham and Cameron Allen all had two points. Magee hit a 3-pointer.

Ben’s Ford Christian School falls to Lamar Christian School
Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Eagles suffered a 51-41 loss to Lamar Christian School in last Friday’s contest that took place on the road.
Kameron Underwood recorded a double-double for Ben’s Ford. Underwood scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. He also blocked a shot.
Tucker Keating posted eight points, two boards, an assist and three steals.
Jarvis Dawson recorded six points and seven rebounds.
Tyler Winstead had three points, seven rebounds, six assists and he blocked two shots.
Gage Tervalon posted two points, two rebounds and a steal.
Dalton Crain had two points along with an assist.
Seth Schilling pulled down two boards and dished out an assist while Seth Burns added two rebounds for Ben’s Ford.
