Franklinton’s Lady Demons captured a victory over Bogalusa on Saturday after falling to Hammond the day before.
The Lady Demons won Saturday’s game, 50-35, on the road.
Danaria Magee led Franklinton with 18 points.
India Dickerson posted 15 points.
Kaniya Dillon had seven points and Addison Carter and Jalyn Bickham added five each in the win.
Shaunte Chatmon was Bogalusa’s leading scorer. She tallied 16 points for the Lady Jacks.
Quantasia Lewis recorded nine points while Chloe Foster and Bianca Pittman posted four each and Samyra White added two for Bogalusa. Lewis hit a 3-pointer.
The night before was a 49-44 loss to Hammond at home.
Magee put up 15 points to lead Franklinton once again in scoring.
She was one of three players in double-figures. Dillon recorded 11, and Dickerson posted 10.
Carter totaled six points and Bickham added two for Franklinton.
One of the key factors in the loss was free-throw shooting. The Lady Demons hit just 4-of-13 (30.7 percent) from the line.
