Franklinton comes up short to Live Oak in overtime
Franklinton’s Lady Demons lost by a point in overtime to Live Oak, 59-58, on the road Wednesday.
Danaria Magee led Franklinton with a solid night, putting up 26 points.
Kaniya Dillon posted 13.
India Dickerson recorded 12 points for the Lady Demons.
Addison Carter tallied five points and Jalyn Bickham added two points for Franklinton.

Pine falls to Amite
Pine’s Lady Raiders suffered a 56-23 loss to Amite in the District 9-2A opener that took place on the road Tuesday.
Savannah Kennedy was the Lady Raiders’ leader in points with six.
Raina Crosby posted five while Alyssa Phelps had four, Kaylyn Ginn and Elizabeth Barber recorded three and McKayla Jordan added two.
