Lady Eagles post 1-1 mark over games held Tuesday, Thursday

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Lady Eagles tallied a 1-1 record in their last two games.
On Thursday, the Lady Eagles were victorious over Sylva Bay Academy, 33-19, on the road.
Kayleigh Wheat was Ben’s Ford’s leading scorer with 14 points. She also pulled down a rebound and made a steal.
Bailey Stewart posted eight points, four boards and three steals.
Kelci Freeman tallied four points, a rebound, two assists and a steal.
Lindsey McGehee put up three points, three boards and an assist.
Celeste Crowe recorded two and grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out an assist and made three steals.
Abby Smith had one point, two rebounds and four steals.
Allison Forbes posted a point and two boards.
Valerie Paige grabbed nine rebounds and made two steals.
Alaina McClelland recorded six rebounds and three assists.
On Tuesday, Ben’s Ford suffered a 47-23 loss to Amite School Center in the team’s District 3AA opener that took place on the road.
Wheat once again topped the team in points with six, and she had two rebounds.
Smith posted four points, three boards and two steals.
McClelland and Freeman recorded four points, a board and a steal each.
Crowe totaled three points, six boards, an assist and a steal.
Paige had two points and four rebounds.
Forbes had two boards while Stewart made a steal and AnnaBella Seal pulled down a rebound.
