Franklinton’s Pope scores 42 in victory over Varnado
Franklinton’s T.Y. Pope had a huge night in Franklinton’s 81-75 win over Varnado on the road Tuesday.
Pope scored a career-high 42 points, helping the Demons to the victory.
Raisean Hart posted 18 points, which included a pair of 3-pointers.
Kian Conerly recorded 10 points for the Demons.
Lorenzo Hart tallied five points while Lagarian Bell posted four and Albert Browhaw added two for Franklinton. Hart knocked down a 3-pointer.
James Williams led Varnado with 25 points.
Armontee Kemp scored 17 points, which included four 3-pointers. Gary Crumedy added 14 points and he hit a 3-pointer.
Jadarrell Magee had 11 and he was successful on a pair of 3-point attempts.
Ardaryl McGowan posted five points while Adrian Bickham and Ja’Rodrick Robinson had two each and Kim McGowan added one. Ardaryl McGowan hit a 3-pointer for the Wildcats.

Pine tops Albany
Pine’s Raiders had balanced scoring in a 42-38 victory over Albany in a home game that took place Tuesday.
Three players hit double figures, led by Markell Cotton, who recorded 15 points.
Jordan Anderson and Kaz Warren scored 12 points each.
Chance Woodward added three for the Raiders in the win.

Franklinton defeats Varnado
Franklinton’s Lady Demons won their game Tuesday over Varnado, 66-32, on the road.
Eleven players tallied at least one point for the Lady Demons, led by Danaria Magee, who posted 17 points.
Kaniya Dillon recorded 12 points, and India Dickerson had 10.
Addison Carter put up nine points while Jalyn Bickham totaled five, Shamya Hart posted four, Eliziah Riley, Cyna Hart, Dewanna Daniels and Bailey Brooks all had two points and Rajana Bickham added one in the win.

Bogalusa victorious over St. Martin’s Episcopal
Bogalusa’s Lady Jacks defeated St. Martin’s Episcopal, 56-25, in a home game that took place Tuesday.
Quantasia Lewis led the Lady Jacks in scoring with 16 points. She also collected four rebounds.
Shaunte Chatmon posted 11 points and seven boards.
Chloe Foster and Bianca Pittman tallied nine points each. Foster had three rebounds and an assist. Pittman pulled down seven boards and dished out three assists.
Prayja Bickham posted five points and three rebounds.
Deranique Lee recorded four points and four boards.
Mary Ladner had two points and a rebound.
Samyra White added four boards for the Lady Jacks.

Bowling Green falls to Oak Forest Academy
Bowling Green’s Lady Buccaneers suffered a 43-32 setback to Oak Forest Academy in Tuesday’s game that took place at home.
Callie Seal led the Lady Buccaneers with 18 points. She hit eight of her 11 free-throw attempts. Seal pulled down three rebounds and made four steals.
Kyley Seals recorded 10 points, six boards and three steals. She hit both of her free throws.
Hallie Creel and Cailee Fruge had two points each. Creel had two boards and an assist. Fruge pulled down seven boards and made two steals.
Hallie Robertson dished out an assist while KaKa Seal posted two steals, Allie McCain had two rebounds and an assist and a steal for Bowling Green.
