Varnado suffered a 47-39 setback to St. Charles in the Northlake Christian School Basketball Round Robin Tournament on Thursday.
Gary Crumedy led the Wildcats with 14 points. Crumedy hit a pair of 3-pointers in the game.
Armontee Kemp posted 11 points, which included a 3-pointer.
Jadarrell Magee recorded six points on a pair of 3-pointers while James Williams posted five points, which included a 3-pointer.
Jeroderick Robinson had two points and Ardarryl McGowan added one for the Wildcats.
