Freeman’s shot late in 4th sends Eagles to victory
Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Kelci Freeman broke a 34-34 by hitting a shot with 13-seconds left that gave the Lady Eagles a 36-34 lead and win over Wayne Academy on the road Tuesday.
Freeman tied Celeste Crowe for the team lead in points with 11. Freeman also grabbed four rebounds while making a steal and dishing out an assist.
In addition to her 11 points, Crowe pulled down five boards, had two assists and made two steals.
Valerie Paige scored five points and pulled down three rebounds.
Alaina McClelland tallied three points, five rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Bailey Stewart posted two points, four boards and two steals.
Allison Forbes had two points and four rebounds.
Abby Smith put up two points, three rebounds and an assist
Kayleigh Wheat added a rebound in the two-point victory.

Ben’s Ford falls to Wayne Academy
Ben’s Ford Christian School suffered a 58-28 loss to Wayne Academy in a road game held Tuesday.
Tyler Winstead led the Eagles with 10 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Jarvis Dawson posted six points and three boards.
Seth Schilling recorded five points and three rebounds.
Kameron Underwood had four points, five boards, an assist and he blocked a shot.
Tucker Keating put up three points, two boards, three steals and a blocked show.
Alston Moore added a rebound, a steal and a blocked shot while Gage Tervalon, Seth Burns, Chase Penton and Micaiah Rosa added a rebound each.
