Bucs come up short in tournament

Bowling Green’s Buccaneers came up short in a 61-57 loss to Columbia Academy in the Brookhaven Academy Thanksgiving Classic last Tuesday.
Connor Comeaux led the Buccaneers in scoring with 25 points, which included four 3-pointers. He also posted three rebounds and two assists.
Rece Dillon recorded nine points — all from 3-pointers.
Braden Edwards, Lync Sharp and Steven Cooper all had seven points. Edwards, who hit a 3-pointer, dished out seven assists and made a steal. Sharp knocked down a 3-pointer and pulled down seven rebounds. Cooper had a 3-pointer to go with two assists and two rebounds.
Drew Wagner added two points, two assists and six rebounds for the Buccaneers.
Charles Tankersley finished with a pair of rebounds.
