Ben’s Ford falls to Wayne Academy
Ben’s Ford Christian School suffered a 52-38 loss to Wayne Academy in a home game held Thursday.
Allison Forbes scored seven points, grabbed four rebounds, dished out an assist and made two steals.
Alaina McClelland posted seven points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Valerie Paige tallied six points, two boards, an assist and three steals.
Kayleigh Wheat put up five points, two boards and a steal.
Celeste Crowe totaled five points and seven rebounds.
Kelci Freeman recorded five points, two rebounds, an assist and two steals.
Bailey Stewart had three points a rebound, an assist and a steal. Abby Smith added five rebounds an assist and a steal.

Franklinton comes up short to Northshore
Franklinton’s Lady Demons were topped by Northshore, 57-52, in the season opener on the road Tuesday, Nov. 14.
India Dickerson led the Lady Demons with 23 points and she knocked down five 3-pointers.
Danaria Magee scored 11 points.
Kaniya Dillon posted eight points while Addison Carter recorded six points and Jayln Bickham added four.
The Lady Demons struggled at the free-throw line, going 12-for-26.

Pine defeated by French Settlement
Pine’s Lady Raiders lost their opener to French Settlement, 54-40, in a road game held Tuesday, Nov. 14.
Elizabeth Barber posted eight points to lead the Lady Raiders.
Savannah Kennedy had seven points, while McKayla Jordan, Raina Crosby and Kaylyn Ginn all tallied six, Jasmine Crosby had three and Trayanna Williams and Kelsey Jenkins added two each.

Mt. Hermon falls to Jewel Sumner
Mt. Hermon School’s Lady Jackets suffered a 47-22 loss to Jewel Sumner on the road Tuesday, Nov. 14.
Macey Applegate led Mt. Hermon with 11 points.
Patera Williams posted eight and Sikoya Jackson added three.

Bowling Green School defeats Ben’s Ford Christian School
Bowling Green jumped out to a 46-18 lead and defeated Ben’s Ford Christian School, 58-40, in a road game held Monday, Nov. 13.
Callie Seal led the all scorers with 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Seal had a rebound, an assist and five steals. Seal also hit a 3-pointer.
Kyley Seals posted 12 points, which included a 3-pointer. She finished with four boards, two assists and three steals.
Allie McCain put up 11 points and hit two 3-pointers, grabbed two rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Hallie Creel tallied seven points, four rebounds and four steals.
Anna Beninato, Hallie Robertson and Hannah Varnado all had two points.
Beninato grabbed three boards and made a pair of steals.
Robertson had a rebound and two steals.
Varnado pulled down a rebound.
Anna Claire added a point and two steals for the Lady Bucs.
Ben’s Ford’s Alaina McClelland recorded 10 points, three rebounds, an assist and two steals.
Kelci Freeman posted nine points with four boards and four steals.
Bailey Stewart totaled six points, four boards, two assists and two steals.
Kayleigh Wheat finished with four points and an assist.

Ben’s Ford victorious over Wayne Academy
Ben’s Ford’s Kameron Underwood had a strong game in Thursday’s 54-47 victory over Wayne Academy at home.
Underwood scored 29 points, grabbed six rebounds and blocked a shot.
Tyler Winstead posted eight points to go with four boards, three assists, a steal and he blocked three shots.
Jarvis Dawson recorded six points, three rebounds and an assist.
Seth Schilling had five points, three boards, an assist and three steals.
Justin Moore tallied three points and a steal.
Dalton Crain recorded three points.
Tucker Keating posted two rebounds an assist and two steals while Gage Tervalon had two boards and a steal, Jarrett Williams posted a board and an assist and Isaac Wascom added a rebound in the victory.

Mt. Hermon defeats Jewel Sumner
Mt. Hermon’s Yellow Jackets were victorious over Jewel Sumner, 46-34, on the road Tuesday, Nov. 14.
Za’Byeaus Holmes and Tevin Williams tied for the team lead in points, as each scored nine.
Ike Tate posted eight points and 10 rebounds.
George Smith had seven points and seven steals.
Device Taylor and Jordan Smith scored six points each.

Bowling Green wins against Ben’s Ford
Bowling Green had a balanced scoring attack in a 58-47 road victory over Ben’s Ford Christian School on the road Monday, Nov. 13.
Steven Cooper and Connor Comeaux led the Buccaneers with 11 points each.
Lync Sharp posted eight points while Braden Edwards tallied six.
Drew Wagner and Jace Schexnider had five each while George Nobles and Jon-Ashton Dykes recorded four and Charles Tankersley along with Kevin Van Dan added two each. Schexnider hit a 3-pointer for Bowling Green.
Kameron Underwood scored a game-high 18 points to go with six boards a steal and a blocked shot for the Eagles.
Dalton Crain posted seven points and a steal.
