“I’m a little disappointed in the way we played,” Pine coach Bradley Seal said. “All week we talked about not giving up the big play, and then we gave up big plays on the first two touchdowns.”
Damarea Odom led Pine in rushing with nine carries for 156 yards and a touchdown. Odom’s touchdown came on a 12-yard run.
“Offensively, he has really been big in the passing and running game,” Seal said. “He’s much improved since last year and he’s been playing well at the end of the year.”
Pine trailed 20-0 at halftime.
Jakyran Handy was sidelined in the second series of the game with an injury. Seal said Monday that Handy is day-to-day.
