Bowling Green School fell to Oak Forest Academy, 35-6, in Friday’s contest that took place in Franklinton.
Oak Forest jumped out to a 28-0 lead by halftime.
Bowling Green got on the board on a 21-yard run by Cameron Bell in the third quarter.
“Oak Forest got ahead at halftime and they played some of their backups,” Bowling Green coach David Currier said. “We played better and got a score. They outmanned us and they have more depth than we do. We played hard for four quarters and got out of it with no serious injuries. We had just bumps and bruises.”
Bowling Green fell to 0-5 for the year, and will return to action Friday night on the road against Centreville Academy.
Oak Forest improved its record to 5-0. Oak Forest has been to the Class AAAA-Division 2 championship game the last three years and won the title once, which was in 2014.
