The Bogalusa High School U.S. Army Jr. ROTC Color Guard has been selected to present the colors at this Saturday’s LSU-BYU game. Kickoff is set for 8:30 pm at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and will be nationally televised on ESPN.

The Lumberjack Battalion Color Guard Team is a small group of highly motivated Cadets that constantly train and perfect their skills throughout the entire year. The team routinely participates during numerous school functions, community parades/events and several New Orleans Pelicans games. In the spring, the team competes against other Northshore area schools as part of the U.S. Army Northshore District Drill Competition season. Also, the team will perform at the annual Bayou Classic football game held later this season.

The Lumberjack Battalion has selected the following cadets to conduct the presentation of colors during Saturday’s LSU-BYU football game — Cadets William Grant, Charvo Myers, Robert Williams, Precious Blackburn, Elisha Taylor and Donald Lewis.
