The Bogalusa Chamber of Commerce raffle for New Orleans Saints tickets wrapped up Friday, Aug. 4, at Yoyo’s on Louisiana Avenue.
In July, the chamber drew two winners, who each won two season tickets to a preseason home game.
Terri McClendon won tickets to see the Saints play the Houston Texans at an Aug. 26 game. Tillman Stogner was the winner for the Aug. 31 contest against the Baltimore Ravens.
On Aug. 4, the chamber drew for regular season tickets to home games and lifelong Bogalusa resident Larry Quinn was the winner.
“I was at home,” Quinn said. “I wasn’t at the drawing. The girl that sold me the ticket told me that I won the tickets. My wife (Pam Quinn) and I went up there to Yoyo’s to pick up the tickets. I told them that I’ve won two things in my life — the heart of my wife 47 years ago, and the tickets last Friday.”
Quinn worked at the paper mill for 40 years, 9 months.
Nicole McGehee won the consolation prize, which was a Saints bear. Gordon Thomas sold the most tickets and is the “Keeper of the Fleur” until next year.
The New Orleans Saints open the season Monday, Sept. 11, on the road against Minnesota. The first home game is six days later against the New England Patriots.
