Franklinton’s Brett Bryant advanced to the state golf championship tournament, during the Division II Region II meet at The Atchafalaya at Idlewild.
The top four teams and the top four individuals who were not members of an advancing team made it to state.
Bryant posted an 83 to qualify. Loranger’s Kristofer Kerr was the top golfer at 70.
Teurlings Catholic and E.D. White tied for the top spot in the team competition with each posting a 320. The top four golfers from each team advance.
The state meet takes place May 1-2 at Farm d’Allie and the Wetlands in Lafayette.
