Franklinton captured this week’s Northlake Golf League and Brett Bryant and Dillen Reeves were second and third in Tuesday’s play at Pinewood Country Club.
The Demons won the event with a score of 400, as the top four golfers from each team were used to determine team scores.
Two teams qualified and Franklinton won by a stroke over Loranger, which posted a 401.
Reeves and Bryant finished second and third, respectively. Bryant posted an 86 and Reeves carded a 92, as 14 golfers competed.
Loranger’s Kristofer Kerr was the overall winner with a 76.
Also for Franklinton, Cameron Jones recorded a 95 while Andrew Schilling posted a 104 and Jacob Smith had a 118.
In the girls competition, Franklinton’s Hannah Grace Henn won the nine-hole competition with a 61. Teammate Katherine Haik was just two strokes behind for second with six golfers competing.
Mallory Pittman tallied a 68 for the Lady Demons.
Two teams qualified for points and Franklinton won with a 124. The top two golfers’ scores are used in calculating team points.
