Bogalusa victorious over Amite
Bogalusa’s Lumberjacks captured a 10-0 victory over Amite in a District 7-3A contest that took place Thursday at home.
Jay Baham had six strikeouts and allowed no walks over five innings of work. Offensively, Baham singled twice.
Tyrese Rousell posted three singles.
Chas Smith and Charles Allen had a single and a double each.
Joemon Roberts posted two singles.
Kameron Bickham and Marlon Myles both singled for the Lumberjacks.

Bowling Green defeats Tylertown
Bowling Green’s Brandon McElveen put up a solid performance, as the Buccaneers were victorious over Tylertown, 13-3, in six innings during a home game that took place Thursday.
McElveen went 3-for-4 with a triple and he had six RBIs.
James Taylor, Nick Wager and Logan Leger all had a hit. Taylor and Leger each drove in a run and scored a run. Wagner doubled.
Cameron Cowart and Drew Wagner had a hit and three runs scored each.
Cameron Bell, Reece Dillon and Josh Boughtman all scored a run for the Buccaneers.
Andy Bienvenu and Bell pitched for Bowling Green.
Bienvenu went four innings, allowing one run on no hits with seven strikeouts and a walk.
Bell pitched two innings, allowing two runs on two hits with two strikeouts and three walks.
The Buccaneers trailed 3-0 after three innings, but tallied the game’s final 13 runs. They scored a run in the fourth and two in the fifth. The big inning was the sixth, when they put up 10 runs to pull away for the victory.

Franklinton topped by Lakeshore
Franklinton’s Demons suffered a 3-2 loss to Lakeshore in Thursday’s District 8-4A home game.
Jamarian Crain was 3-for-3 with a double and a run scored.
Wyatt Verret and J.J. Jackson had a hit each. Both players doubled and Verret scored a run.
Hunter Maxwell was the hard-luck losing pitcher. He allowed two earned runs on five hits with four strikeouts and five walks in a compete game.
Franklinton took a 2-0 lead after one inning, but Lakeshore tied the contest with two in the fourth and moved in front in the sixth.

Bogalusa defeats Amite
Bogalusa’s Chas Smith was solid on the mound and at the plate and Jay Baham had a pair of extra-base hits in a 17-1 six-inning victory over Amite in a District 7-3A road game that took place Tuesday, April 3.
Smith threw all six innings, allowing no earned runs on one hit with six strikeouts and four walks. At the plate, he went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple.
Baham hit a home run and tripled for the Lumberjacks.
Kameron Bickham singled three times.
Charles Allen and Joemon Roberts singled and doubled.
Myron Myles posted a pair of singles and Tyrese Rousell singled for Bogalusa.
