Franklinton’s Lady Demons pounded out 16 hits with Ashlyn Ard, Madison LaSalle and Shamya Hart leading the way with 10 combined hits in a 15-0 victory over Salmen in a District 8-4A game that went four innings.
Ard went 4-for-4 with three runs batted in for the road team. LaSalle recorded three hits in her four at bats that included two doubles, two runs batted in and four runs scored. Hart went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI.
Anna Miley and Alaina Fussell posted two hits each.
Miley had a double. Fussell hit a home run, drove in two and scored a run.
Bailey Spears and Bethany Sandifer had a hit each. Spears drove in two and scored three runs. Sandifer had a run scored.
Morgan Stafford drove in a run and tallied one while Stephanie Crowe posted an RBI and Laynea Stafford posted two runs.
Anna Miley was solid in the circle. Miley threw a four-hit shutout with eight strikeouts and two walks over the four innings.
Franklinton scored in every inning. The Lady Demons put up three in the first, two in the second, four in the third and six in the fourth for the victory.
