FHS finishes 3rd in golf league this week

Franklinton came in third for this week’s Northlake Golf League at Abita Springs Golf Club on Tuesday.
The Demons posted a 396 team score in a close competition among the top three spots.
Loranger won the event with a 385 and Lakeshore was second with a 389, as four teams qualified for points. Salmen was fourth with a 442.
The top four golfers from each team are used to determine team score.
Brett Bryant was Franklinton’s top golfer this week. Bryant posted a 90 to finish fifth in a field of 22 golfers.
Teammates Dillen Reeves and Cameron Jones tied for sixth, as each posted a 94.
Loranger’s Kristofer Kerr won the meet with a 76.
Lakeshore’s Nick Pizzuto was runner-up at 85. Loranger’s Wade Baham and Salmen’s Nick Himber tied for third at 88 each.
