Bowling Green falls to Centreville Academy
Bowling Green suffered a 13-5 loss to Centreville Academy in District 5AAA action at home Tuesday.
Brandon McElveen led the Buccaneers in hits with three and he scored a run.
Nick Wager posted two hits an RBI and a run scored.
James Taylor, Andy Bienvenu and Drew Wagner had a hit each.
Taylor scored a run. Wagner doubled, drove in three runs and scored a run.
Grady Ball scored a run for Bowling Green.
Centreville led 7-5 after five innings, but scored one in the sixth and five more in the seventh. Each team committed four errors.

Mt. Hermon tops Slaughter Community Charter
Mt. Hermon was victorious over Slaughter Community Charter, 9-8, in a home game that took place Monday.
Trey Brumfield posted two hits with an RBI and a run scored for the Yellow Jackets.
D.J. Elzey, Dylan Clark and Preston Knight all had one hit. Elzey and Knight drove in a run and scored a run each. Clark had two RBIs and a run scored.
Trenton Wilson scored two runs while Clinton Roux, Kamron Brumfield, Remington Bankston all scored a run in the contest.
Knight was the winning pitcher.
Seven Mt. Hermon errors led to six unearned runs.
Mt. Hermon led 9-0 after two innings, after scoring four runs in the first and five in the second.

Pine defeats Mt. Hermon
Pine’s Dillon Morris threw a four-hit shutout in the Raiders’ 10-0 five-inning win over Mt. Hermon at home Friday, March 24.
Morris struck out three and walked two.
Offensively, Morris and Luke Fonda had two hits, including a double each. Morris drove in two and scored once. Fonda posted an RBI and a run scored.
Kendall Sheridan, D.J. Thomas, Dakota Brooks and Ian Turner all recorded one hit.
Sheridan scored a run and Turner had an RBI.
Tate Roach and Rion Terrell scored two runs each while Chris Mayeaux, Will Adams and Kaden Fersch all scored one run.
Mt. Hermon’s Trey Brumfield had two hits.
D.J. Elzey doubled and Clinton Roux singled for the Yellow Jackets.
