Pine’s Cooper, Galloway are 1st-team all-district players

Two Pine Raiders were selected first-team all-district players for the 10-2A league after putting solid seasons together.
Trey Cooper and Ty Galloway were named to the first team.
Cooper averaged a double-double and nearly a 20-20 performance in league play. He averaged 21.2 points per game and 18 rebounds.
Galloway put up 17.6 points and four boards per contest.
Pine’s Christian Warren is an all-district honorable mention player after he averaged eight points and three assists per game.
Archbishop Hannan’s Norris Williams is the District 10-2A MVP and his coach Mike Senna is the league’s Coach of the Year.
The Hawks reached the regional round of the Division III state playoffs, but lost to quarterfinalist and 13th-seeded St. Charles, 54-45.
The rest of the first team featured Hannan’s Brooks Murrell and Northlake Christian School teammates Jacob Herrington and Matt Whelan.
The second-team players are Pope John Paul II teammates Zach Pisciotta and Shawn Henderson, Northlake Christian’s Brennan Cooley and Hannan teammates Nick Daniel and Pierce Dennis.
Northlake Christian made the Division III postseason as the 11th-seeded team, but lost in the regional round to sixth-seeded and quarterfinalist David Thibodaux, 70-38.
Pope John Paul II reached the playoffs as the No. 18 team, but suffered a 65-60 loss to No. 15 and regional round team Lee Magnet.
