Bogalusa’s Jameka Lucas had two top-four finishes at the West Harrison Invitational that took place Thursday, March 2.
Lucas was fourth in the 400-meters and the high jump.
She ran the 400 in 1 minute, 8 seconds. West Harrison’s Alaziah Turner won the event in 1:01.
Lucas cleared 4 feet, 4 inches in the high jump. West Harrison’s Deniya Downs won at 5-0.
Lucas was also seventh in the 100-hurdles with a time of 19.22. Downs was victorious in 16.78.
Lucas took ninth in the long jump at 13-2. Downs won the event with a distance of 17-1.5.
Lucas was Bogalusa’s only female athlete for this meet.
