Ben’s Ford topped by Prentiss Christian School
Ben’s Ford Christian School lost a close one to Prentiss Christian School, 10-8, in a home game that took place at home Tuesday.
Ernesto Woods and Chase Penton both had solid games, recording three hits each.
Payton Miller posted two hits while Roberts Gaitan and Leyton Page added a hit each.

Ben’s Ford falls to Prentiss
Ben’s Ford Christian School suffered a 7-2 setback to Prentiss Christian School in a road game that took place Monday.
Chase Penton posted two hits and a pair of runs batted in for the Eagles.
Ernesto Woods tallied two hits.
Leyton Page and Jarvis Dawson each had a hit and scored a run each.

Bowling Green splits with CHEF
Bowling Green School opened its baseball season Saturday with a split with CHEF at home.
The Buccaneers won the first game, 9-6, as Brandon McElveen and Nick Wager had three hits each. McElveen doubled, drove in three runs and scored once. Wager had a pair of doubles and tallied a run.
Cameron Bell, Cameron Cowart and Logan Leger recorded two hits each. Bell doubled, drove in a run and scored once. Cowart doubled and tripled while scoring twice and posting an RBI. Leger scored twice in the win.
Grady Ball, Ray Magruder and Ben Bickham all singled. Ball had an RBI and scored a run, while Bickham drove in a run.
Bowling Green erased a 6-4 deficit with five runs in the sixth en route to the win.
The second game was a 3-1 loss.
The teams’ combined four runs were all scored in the first inning.
Bowling Green was limited to three hits. Bell had two and Wager had one.
Wager drove in the run that was scored by Bell. Wager’s hit was a double.
