Pine’s Cooper, Galloway strong in consolation game

Pine’s Ty Galloway scored a career-high in points and Trey Cooper recorded a triple-double in a 92-75 victory over Pope John Paul II in the District 10-2A consolation game Friday at Northlake Christian School.
Galloway scored a career-high 43 points. Galloway was outstanding from beyond the 3-point line, hitting a remarkable 11-of-16 (68.7 percent). It was Galloway’s career high in points and the individual team high in points for Pine this season.
Cooper had a 20-20 night in his triple-double. He scored 23 points, grabbed 27 rebounds and dished out 12 assists.
Christian Warren posted 18 points.
Dillon Morris and Jordan Anderson had three points each and Kaz Warren added two in the victory.
