Lady Eagles’ season concludes in District 5AAA Tourney

Ben’s Ford suffered a 41-30 loss to Central Private School in the District 5AAA Tournament on Tuesday at Bowling Green.
Kayleigh Wheat recorded 10 points, three rebounds and an assist.
Addison Seal, who is the team’s only senior, had a solid game to finish off her high-school basketball career, just missing a double-double. She had nine points and nine boards for the Lady Eagles.
Alaina McClelland posted six points, five rebounds an assist and two steals.
Celeste Crowe finished with four points, two rebounds, an assist and four steals.
Ayrianna Culpepper grabbed two rebounds and made a steal, while Katelyn McCain had two rebounds and Abbie Atkins had one rebound.
The loss concluded fifth-seeded Ben’s Ford’s season.
