Franklinton      victorious over Lakeshore
Franklinton’s Danaria Magee scored 20 points, helping the Lady Demons to a 47-17 victory over Lakeshore at home Friday in a District 8-4A game.
India Dickerson scored 11 points for Franklinton.
Kaniya Dillon posted seven while Addison Carter recorded six and Hayle Davidson added three in the win.

Varnado defeats St. Martin’s Episcopal
Varnado was victorious over St. Martin’s Episcopal, 41-19, in a District 8-1A contest at home Friday.
Quierra Bickham led the team with 15 points that included a pair of 3-pointers.
Jaden Foster posted 12 points in the win.
Keosha Mingo recorded eight points while Destiny Keys had four and Tamarya Bell added two.

Pine falls to Northlake Christian School
Pine’s Lady Raiders suffered a 40-33 loss to Northlake Christian School in a District 10-2A home game held Friday.
Breyanna Brown led the Lady Raiders with 13 points.
Savannah Kennedy posted eight points while Bethany McGinnis had five, Hannah Ard recorded four and Kaylyn Ginn added three.
Pine struggled from the free-throw line, hitting just 8-of-23 (34.7 percent) for the contest.

Franklinton defeats Lakeshore
Franklinton’s Demons won 60-50 over Lakeshore during a District 8-4A contest held Friday at home.
Three players hit double figures for the Demons.
Raisean Hart led the way with 17 points that included a 3-pointer.
Darius Dawson tallied 15 that included three 3-pointers and Sam Smith posted 13.
Sheldon Baham recorded six points while Jairus Bryant and T.Y. Pope both had five. Bryant hit a three.

Varnado           victorious over St. Martin’s Episcopal
Varnado’s Errol Varnado filled up the stat sheet Friday night with 12 points, eight rebounds, five assists and a blocked shot in a 45-29 victory over St. Martin’s Episcopal at home in District 8-1A play.
Andre Jones and Damon Kirsh both had eight points. Jones posted six rebounds, two steals and three blocks while Kirsh pulled down three boards and dished out three assists.
Armontee Kemp tallied six points, a rebound, four steals and a blocked shot.
Ardarryl McGowan had five points, four boards, an assist and a block.
James Williams, Jadarrel Magee and Xavier Moses all had two points. Williams grabbed four rebounds while adding three assists and a steal. Moses had a rebound, an assist and a steal.
Gary Crumedy finished with four rebounds and a steal while JaKyle NewKirk added a rebound and two assists.
