BOYS

Bogalusa defeats Albany
Bogalusa’s B.J. Mingo scored 21 points and Tramarcus Levi finished with 20, helping the Lumberjacks capture a 94-58 victory over Albany in a District 7-3A home game Friday.
Levi hit three 3-pointers for Bogalusa, and Mingo had one.
Laster Hills posted 16 points, which included a 3-pointer.
Thomas Turner scored 11 points, including two 3-pointers.
Dominique Tillman recorded eight points while Charles Taylor posted six points on a pair of 3-pointers.
Kim McGowan, DeMarcus Spikes and Timahj Peyton all had three points, with Sean Sentino adding two. McGowan and Spikes both hit a three.
All 10 Bogalusa players listed in the scorebook tallied in the game.

Ben’s Ford wins in overtime
Ben’s Christian School’s Cameron Byrd and C.J. McClelland both had big nights and the Eagles won a 51-48 game in overtime at home n District 5AAA play.
Byrd put up 20 points, five rebounds, two assists and six steals.
McClelland posted another double-double, this time with 15 points and 15 rebounds to go with an assist.
Jeremiah Slocum finished with 10 points, five rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot.
Kameron Underwood had four points, three boards, a steal and a pair of blocked shots.
Seth Schilling had two points, two boards, a steal and a blocked shot.
Kevin Simmons finished with three rebounds while Tyler Winstead had two boards, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot and Gage Tervalon added a rebound in the win.
The game was tied at 43-43 through regulation.

GIRLS

Bowling Green wins against Centreville Academy
Bowling Green was victorious over Centreville Academy, 63-53, in a District 5AAA road game that took place Monday.
Four players hit double figures for the Lady Bucs, including Hollie Waskom, McKinley Seal, Katelin Junkins and Hallie Robertson.
Waskom led the team in scoring with 16 points, as she hit 6-of-8 from the field. Waskom missed a double-double by just two rebounds. She finished with eight boards, six assists and a steal.
Seal posted 13 points, which included a 3-pointer, and she hit both of her free-throw attempts. Seal finished with four boards, six assists and six steals.
Junkins, who hit all four of her field goals, both of her free throws and both of her 3-pointers, had 12 points, three rebounds and three steals.
Robertson posted 10 points, a rebound, an assist and two steals.
Sydney Watson and Cailee Fruge tallied four points each. Watson pulled down a rebound, dished out two assists and made four steals. Fruge, who hit 2-of-3 from the field, made two steals.
Shelby McDonald and Payton Stogner recorded two points each. McDonald had two rebounds, an assist and two steals. Stogner posted two boards.
Callie Seal added a rebound for the Lady Bucs.

Pine tops Hannan in overtime
Pine’s Breyanna Brown scored 21 points to help lead the Lady Raiders to a 46-43 overtime victory over Archbishop Hannan in a District 10-2A home game Friday.
Savannah Kennedy tallied 13 points for the Lady Raiders.
Hannah Ard posted seven points while Bethany McGinnis recorded three and Kaylyn Ginn added two.
Pine had to make a defensive stop to get the game into overtime, and the Lady Raiders were successful.
