On Saturday, Dec. 31, the MCCA krewe announced that Chris Penton, a Washington Parish native, is King of MCCA XXXVII. In addition, Suzi Kennedy Bourne is named queen of MCCA XXXVII.

Penton is a member of MCCA and a member of MCCA’s den of Jesters. Bourne is a member of MCCA and a member of the den of Ladies of Aphrodite. Look for details in our Wednesday paper.
