Buccaneers defeated Tuesday, win Thursday

Bowling Green’s Buccaneers lost Tuesday’s game, but rebounded two days later to go 1-1 in the Columbia Academy Christmas Invitational Tournament.
The Buccaneers suffered a 49-42 loss to Lamar Christian School in the opener of the tournament.
One key to the game was a tough second quarter, in which Bowling Green was limited to just four points.
Kenny Robertson led the Buccaneers with 20 points, which included two 3-pointers. Jonathan Smith and Austin Reedy scored eight points each. Reedy knocked down a pair of 3-pointers.
Lync Sharp posted four points and Connor Comeaux added two for the Buccaneers.
Bowling Green played its next game of the tournament after press time.
The Buccaneers rebounded from the loss on Thursday by defeating Centreville Academy, 65-59.
Reedy led the Bucs with 19 points. Five of his made shots were 3-pointers.
Reedy was one of four Bowling Green players to hit double-figures.
Robertson and Smith tallied 13 each while Comeaux posted 11. Robertson hit a three while Comeaux hit two threes.
Sharp posted six points while Josh Boughton put up two points and Drew Wagner added one in the win. Sharp knocked down a pair of threes.
