Ben’s Ford Christian School suffered a 52-0 loss to Copiah Academy in a game that took place Friday night on the road.

“They were bigger than us,” Ben’s Ford assistant coach Chuck Williams said. “We have 18 kids; they had 11 on the field and probably 27 to 28 on the sideline. We were just outsized and outmanned. Our kids fought hard; they got in there and played.”

Cook credited Jeremiah Slocum’s punting and also said the line blocked well on those punts.

The loss made the Eagles 1-5 this season.

Ben’s Ford is back in action Friday night when they take on Bowling Green School at home. Bowling Green is 2-3 this season. They enter this week after falling to Centreville Academy, 39-13.
