Foster posts 7 tackles in Sunday’s contest

Saskatchewan’s Roughriders came up short to Winnipeg in a 28-25 loss during Sunday’s home game.
Roughriders’ linebacker Otha Foster III, a 2006 Varnado High School graduate, had a solid game. He led the Roughriders with seven tackles in the contest.
He was second among all defenders in the game, finishing just two behind Winnipeg’s Kevin Fogg.
This season, Foster has 37 defensive tackles, two on special teams and two sacks.
Saskatchewan trailed 19-11 through three quarters, but came back and tied Winnipeg, 25-25, with 1:09 left in the fourth quarter.
The Blue Bombers drove down and Justin Medlock kicked a game winning 43-yard field goal with two seconds left.
The loss dropped the Roughriders to 1-9 this season. Winnipeg moves to 6-4.
Saskatchewan’s next game takes place Saturday against Winnipeg.
