Ben’s Ford Christian School was victorious over Acadiana Home School, 39-0, in Friday’s home game.
Jeremiah Slocum threw for more than 300 yards and three touchdowns. His touchdowns went to Cameron Miller, Andrew Smith and Cameron Byrd.
The other two touchdowns were rushing scores by Robert Gaitan and Jacob Seal.
Defensively, Eagles’ coach Robert N. Cook said linebacker Andrew Smith led the way.
“It’s his defense to lead and he did an outstanding job,” Cook said.
Cook also credited his front four, including C.J. McClelland, Gaitan, Tyrik Bickham and Layton Page.
“That front four wouldn’t allow the quarterback to do much,” Cook said. “They kept him bottled up inside.”
The win was the Eagles’ first of this season. Ben’s Ford is 1-2 this year.
Ben’s Ford’s next game takes place Friday on the road against Centreville Academy, as the Eagles attempt to even their record on the season.
