Pine’s Lady Raiders suffered a 23-19 loss to Springfield in a Lady Wave Summer Basketball League that took place Thursday at the Ponchatoula Recreation Center.

Bethany McGinnis led Pine with 10 points.

Savannah Kennedy was next with five and Breyanna Brown recorded.

Games in the league feature a pair of 20-minute halves with a running clock.

Pine is back in action Tuesday facing Fontainebleau at 5 p.m. for a varsity game and then they play a junior varsity contest at 6 p.m. against Ponchatoula.

On Thursday, the Lady Raiders close out the summer league with a JV contest against Mandeville at 5 p.m. and a varsity game against Albany at 6 p.m.
