Mt. Hermon’s Lady Jackets are heading to the Class B softball state playoffs.

The team reached the postseason after going 8-8 overall and they tallied a 2-4 record in district play.

Mt. Hermon is the No. 22 seed and will face 11th-seeded Negreet on the road. The game is scheduled for Monday at 4 p.m., but with the weather forecast showing rain for Monday as of Friday morning, there is a chance the game time and date could change.

The winner of this game advances to the regional round to play against No. 6 Forest, which is on a bye for the opening round.
