Franklinton’s Lady Demons tennis team defeated Lakeshore, while the boys team lost to LHS in Tuesday’s matches at home.

The girls won their contest, 3-2.

Franklinton won both singles’ matches in straight sets. Ashton Keaton captured her match, 7-5, 6-1 over Colleen Ball. Abby McNeal won 6-2, 6-0.

In doubles, Cassidy Stewart/Meredith McCullough won their contest over Corrine Pritchett, 6-4, 6-2.

Alyssa Pardee/Caroline Dunaway suffered a 6-0, 6-2 loss to Alix Zath/Lauren Nicklas while Tijanae Magee/Eman Simmons were defeated by Alonna Real/Bri Robinson, 6-2, 6-4.

In the boys’ matches, the Demons fell by a score of 3-1.

Clayton Raif Branch won his singles match in a tiebreaker over Josh Voth, 6-3, 6-7, 12-7.

Nathan Ackerman lost to Val Schaff, 6-0, 6-1 in singles.

In doubles, Daylin Garrett/Jaylin Garrett suffered a 6-1, 6-2 setback to Jacob LaFrance/Alex Jolicoeur and Trevor Stafford/Jordan Catchings were topped by Chris Zimmer/Keith LaBeau, 6-2, 2-6, 10-7.
