Franklinton’s Lady Demons were victorious over Salmen on Thursday, April 7, but lost to Northlake Christian School in Monday’s game.

The game against Salmen was a 16-1 victory.

The Lady Demons had just four hits, but coaxed 14 walks and took advantage of four errors in the win.

Madison LaSalle, Bailey Spears, Anna Miley and Morgan Stafford accounted for the hits.

LaSalle drove in a run and scored three times. Spears had two RBIs and three runs scored. Miley recorded three RBIs and Stafford doubled, drove in three runs and scored once for Franklinton.

Lexi Williams had an RBI and two runs scored. Bethany Sandifer tallied three times while Deja Long and Stephanie Crowe scored once each, Alyssa Menard put up two runs and Alaina Fussel drove in three during the victory.

Winning pitcher Miley allowed three hits with four strikeouts and a walk.

The Lady Demons scored four in the first, seven in the second and five in the fourth. Salmen’s run came during the third inning.

Monday’s game was a 10-5 setback on the road.

Franklinton had seven hits, led by LaSalle’s three. LaSalle also scored a run and drove in one.

Williams, Spears, Stafford and Fussell finished with a hit each.

Williams scored a run while Spears posted two runs batted in. Stafford scored a run and Fussell doubled and had an RBI.

Sandifer and Laynea Stafford scored a run each.

Four Lady Demons errors led to six unearned runs.
