Franklinton’s Danaria Magee was selected to the District 8-4A all-district team for the Lady Demons.

Magee was the only Franklinton player selected.

The Lady Demons finished 8-21 and missed the postseason.

Two Franklinton players were named all-district honorable mention players, including Deja Martin and Kaniya Dillon.

Loranger’s JaMya Mingo-Young was named the league’s MVP.

She is joined on the all-district squad by teammates Natalie Kelly and Sydney Rivers.

Salmen had three players on the team, including Arianna Cooks, Ashanti Eden and Jaylen Huderson.

Lakeshore, Pearl River and St. Scholastica Academy had one player each.

Lakeshore’s Paige Hulin, Pearl River’s Savannah Walker and St. Scholastica’s Clair Schmitt all made the all-district team.

The rest of the all-district honorable mention players include Lakeshore’s Kenyetta Allen, Loranger’s Kyleigh Genco, Sydney Starkey and Anna White, Pearl River’s Jayla Tillison, Salmen’s Allie Batiste and Jayla Faciane and St. Scholastica’s Lizzie Lagarde and Sam Zelden.
