Franklinton’s Lady Demons went 0-2 in the St. Thomas Aquinas Tournament that took place Saturday, against St. Thomas and Ponchatoula.

The opener was an 11-0 setback to the host school in five innings.

Franklinton was limited to one hit — a single by Anna Miley.

St. Thomas scored a run in the first inning before adding five each in the third and fourth innings.

Franklinton committed six errors, which led to six unearned runs in the setback.

The second game was an 11-3 loss to Ponchatoula.

Franklinton had just four hits. Madison LaSalle, Lexi Williams, Morgan Stafford and Alaina Fussell all recorded one hit for the Lady Demons. Stafford scored a run.

The other two runs were scored by Bethany Sandifer and Bailey Spears.

Franklinton committed four errors and Ponchatoula scored five unearned runs in the win.
