Varnado goes 1-4 in recent games

Varnado went 0-3 in the Covington/Mandeville Tournament.
After falling to Archbishop Hannan and Covington, 11-1 and 8-3, the Wildcats suffered an 11-0 loss to St. Paul’s School on Friday, March 18, in five innings.
Errol Varnado and Armontee recorded a hit apiece for Varnado.
On Monday, Varnado was victorious over Crescent City, 10-1, at the Bogalusa Sports Complex.
Jaylan Jefferson threw a complete game. He gave up no earned runs and finished with 13 strikeouts and just two walks. Jefferson also helped himself at the plate by hitting a homer and driving in two. Isaiah Alexander went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a pair of stolen bases.
Varnado tallied two hits and drove in four runs. He also swiped two bases and scored a run.
On Tuesday, VHS suffered a 5-1 loss to St. Martin’s Episcopal at the Bogalusa Sports Complex.
Xavier Moses walked and doubled while Varnado added a hit and a run. He also walked and stole a base.
