Bogalusa was victorious over Independence, 22-11, in a District 7-3A game Tuesday, but lost to Pearl River 18-0 in non-district action Wednesday.

Against Independence, Charleena Franklin went 4-for-4 with two RBIs.

Angel Cox tallied three hits and two RBIs in four at bats.

Jazlyn Scott, Kendra Peters and Jasmine May had one RBI each.

Bogalusa drew 12 walks and one batter got hit in the win.

In Wednesday’s game, the Lady Jacks had just one hit, which was by Franklin.
