Pine’s Lady Raiders suffered a 56-36 loss to Lakeview in the bi-district round of the Class 2A playoffs on the road Thursday.

Breyanna Brown scored 12 points to lead the Lady Raiders in scoring. Nyxavion Robertson posted 10.

Laken Breedlove recorded six points while Chelsey Turage and Hannah Ard posted four points each.

No. 20 Pine had two seniors on the team this year, including Robertson and Breedlove.

Coach Mary McGinnis said that Robertson was the team’s inside presence and did a good job all year. McGinnis said Breedlove was the Lady Raiders’ emotional leader all year.

“They did a good job for me all year and will be missed next season,” McGinnis said.

No. 13 Lakeview advances to the regional round and plays either fourth-seeded Red River or No. 29 Haynes Academy. That game was played after press time.
