Varnado was victorious over Ecole Classique, 90-21, in the Wildcats’ final regular-season game Friday at VHS.

Delrick Abrams scored 22 points while D.J. Jefferson put up 14. Nick Darden and Armontee Kemp tallied 12 each in the victory.

Varnado finished the regular season with a 19-5 overall record and the team went 10-2 in district.

Varnado and Covenant Christian Academy finished the regular season tied with a 10-2 record in district play.

Varnado coach Brad Oestriecher said that because of power ranking and out of district record, Varnado is considered the District 8-1A champion.
