Bogalusa downs Jewel Sumner

Three Bogalusa players broke the 20-point mark, as the Lumberjacks were victorious over Jewel Sumner, 94-55, in a District 7-3A contest on the road Monday.
Laster Hills led the Lumberjacks with 23 points, which included four 3-pointers. Tremarcus Levi was just a point behind at 22 and Billy Mingo registered 21 points for Bogalusa.
DeSean Crumedy, Ronald McMorris and Kenny Robertson scored eight points each. McMorris also hit a three.
Kenyatta Scott and Breadrick Whittine tallied two points each.
Bogalusa improved to 15-9 overall and 5-2 in district play.
The Lumberjacks are tied for first place with Albany and Amite. Albany and Amite face each other today in Amite.
Bogalusa closes out the regular season by hosting Independence today at 6 p.m.
